A clean install or a sharp repair leaves a mark you can see: straight lines, tight ductwork, a system that looks like it belongs in the home. Photos cut through the sales talk. They show how a furnace or air handler should sit, how a condensate line should drain, and what “done right” actually looks like when the truck pulls away. We keep a running record of the work we do across Jacksonville because seeing the difference beats hearing about it.

AC Condenser Replacement in Mandarin
Before
AfterThe old condenser was a 2011 Goodman that had been limping along on borrowed time. The fins were flattened, the cabinet was rusted through at the base, and the compressor was pulling high amps on startup. We removed the unit, set a new pad, installed a matched condensing unit, and reworked the line set connections with fresh brazed joints and a proper nitrogen purge. The result is a condenser that sits level, breathes well, and pulls the amperage the nameplate says it should.
Furnace Heat Exchanger Repair in Arlington
Before
AfterA cracked heat exchanger is one of those problems that hides behind a working furnace. The homeowner called because the carbon monoxide detector had chirped twice in one week. We pulled the blower assembly, confirmed the crack with a camera scope, and replaced the heat exchanger under the unit’s parts warranty. The fix took most of a day, but the furnace now runs with a sealed combustion path, which is the only way we would leave it.
AC Maintenance Catch on a 5-Year-Old Trane
Before
AfterMaintenance looks boring in photos until you see the coil before the wash. This Trane had a quarter-inch of matted cottonwood and pollen packed across the condenser coil. Head pressure was up, and the system was working harder than it needed to. We pulled the top, split the coil, washed it with a proper foaming cleaner, and checked the charge. The pressure readings after were within a few pounds of factory spec, and the temperature split at the return and supply returned to normal.
Furnace Igniter and Flame Sensor Service in San Marco

The furnace would light and then drop out after about ninety seconds. The flame sensor was so coated that the control board could not confirm the burn. We cleaned the sensor, tested it, and found the igniter was also reading weak on resistance, so we replaced it with a new silicon nitride igniter while we were in there. Most igniter replacements run $150 to $300 parts and labor included, and the fix restored reliable cold-start ignition on the first attempt.
Ductwork Repair After a Raccoon Visit in Riverside

A torn flex duct in a crawlspace is a silent energy leak. A raccoon had torn through the outer jacket and a good section of the inner liner. The homeowner noticed one bedroom never cooled and the electric bill was creeping up. We pulled the damaged section, measured the run, and installed new insulated flex with proper support straps and sealed connections. Airflow to that bedroom returned to the same levels as the other rooms on the same trunk line.
Evaporator Coil Swap in a Goodman Air Handler

A leaking evaporator coil in a Goodman air handler is a common failure, and this one had been losing refrigerant slowly for over a year. The homeowner had been topping off the charge twice a season instead of fixing the leak. We recovered the remaining refrigerant, replaced the coil, installed a new filter-drier, pressure tested with nitrogen, and pulled a proper vacuum before recharging. A refrigerant recharge that is not paired with a leak repair is just a bandage, and this fix addressed the root cause.
Thermostat Relocation in a Two-Story Home

The thermostat sat on a hallway wall that got direct afternoon sun through a stairwell window. The system short-cycled because the thermostat thought the house was five degrees warmer than it actually was. We moved the thermostat to an interior wall near the return, ran new low-voltage wire, and sealed the old hole. The system now cycles the way it should, and the upstairs stopped overshooting the set point every afternoon.
